"I used to go to this store quite a bit however I took a hiatus from riding for a few years and now I’m getting back into it I came back.
This store is so over priced compared to the other shops in the area. Couple that with the fact this store is pretty much exclusively run by children who think their flirting and gossiping is more important than customer service. I swear they thought I couldn’t hear them from the other side of the counter as they were ringing me up between the cursing and the lewd innuendos... it took far too long for them to accomplish the simple task of ringing my over priced products up and they had to keep asking me the same questions over and over because I was clearly interrupting their conversation."

"I was looking for an item and wanted to make sure that it was in stock at my local store. The associate put me on hold, grabbed two of the item and held them for me until I got off work. When I arrived at the store, my items were waiting for me at the registers. This is why I shop here."

"The crew at Cycle Gear have made me feel like family. Everytime I walk through the door I am greeted with a smile and a welcoming vibe, Eddie(sp) especially. He has really helped me make some decisions with my helmets that have been comfortable, easy to use, and worth the purchase."

He was very helpful also. They introduced themselves but I just can’t remember their names. I left paying an unGodly amount of money but it was all worth it. I’m sure I’ll be back again. "I purchased a motorcycle battery from them which at the time was sold with a lifetime warranty. I came to exchange the battery and though after talking to the manager they exchanged they exchanged it, the same manager informed me that they will not continue to honor the warranty in the future because it only allows for one exchange... Not much of a lifetime warranty.

I don’t believe that is how the warranty was intended or expressed and that this is just an effort to backpedal from the original offer. However, there is no way of finding out for certain since they would not provide the language of the original warranty.

This is Highly disappointing since a big part of cyclegear’s appeal is that they stood by their products by offering certain warranties. And yes, I understand that battery lifetime warranties are not THAT common and perhaps they didn’t factor in the costs of offering such a warranty or the higher likelihood of that particular battery to fail into their price. But that’s really besides the point. The problem here is how willing they are to back out of a warranty they offered which makes the trustworthiness of any other warranty they carry questionable. Without this assurance of them standing behind their products, or the warranties they offer for such products, there is no real reason to continue to shop there when I can get the same or almost identical product online for substantially less. "
